One of our experts, Vargas, was a big fan of the Prettygarden collection that she describes as "like the perfect mix of feminine and professional." She was able to spot a variety of pretty, romantic pieces that would be perfect for summer brunches and bridal showers, while Laudort liked the brand's sleek jackets and dresses with beautiful details like lace and bows.

Neil Saunders of GlobalData was less than thrilled. He said that while the store was creative, it lacked a sense of an understanding of the market and was "too complicated." Saunders said that, while he believed that Amazon was still a firm believer in brick and mortar retail, the decision to shut down its 4-Star stores and bookstores last year is a sign that it is focusing on the most important things for consumers.
